Ultra-clear low-iron glass is a kind of high performance float glass that has near perfect clarity and colorlessness. It is produced with reduced iron content (less than 100 ppm) which allows pure, natural sunlight to pass through unfiltered. The result is increased light transmission, reduced solar energy reflection, and reduced greenish tint found in normal clear float glass.
